Benzo Life, Withdrawal & Recovery

To date, the most profound realization in my life was learning that more than half of it was so manufactured. I was prescribed Klonopin at a young age. It was a difficult time in my life and I was not informed or aware of the dangers that came with that drug.

Without getting into the science of how the drug works, I will just say it’s debilitating  in many ways.  For 27 years, I functioned at a limited capacity. I suffer through humiliating side effects, under the false pretense that the drug was helping me with the problems it was actually creating.

This is where I will talk about my benzo life experiences, the hellish withdrawal that takes the lives of many, and the rebirth and recovery that I am still experiencing today.

First Natural Sleep In Years

First Natural Sleep In Years

Last night was my second night of natural sleep in quite a while. This means it was not induced by Klonopin, Melatonin, Xanax, Ambien, hydroxyzine, nighttime cold medicine, or red wine. The last 27 years of my life ended with one of those or a combination of several...
