They say real men can wear pink, but do they sing Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" as well? Apparently so. I'd certainly be the last one to call Daughtry effeminate. But I did have a chuckle once he got to the "p-p-p-poker face" part of the song. Regardless, it was well done.
This post is dedicated to the cover songs that we didn't see coming.
While promoting his upcoming album, “Leave This Town” at a radio station in Germany, Daughtry suprised many with Lady Gaga's, "Poker Face". Don't worry, as good as it may be, it is not a track on the new album.
You may be overwhelmed with the onslaught of Michael Jackson news, that is headlining media outlets all over the world. But muster up the energy for this take of "Bad" by Celine Dion. What's even more surprising than the song itself, is the costume and dance. Who would of thought she could do such a great impersonation. For the record, this was performed many years before his untimely death.
Scala & Kolacny Brothers conduct a Belgium girl's choir. I can't say I've spent too much time listening to choir music, but I do know that the song selections tend to be a bit more reserved than the Divinyls, "I touch myself". What is more suprising is that it is sung by young girls. How do you trump that one with shock value? Luckily for us all, it is not a boy's choir.
If you have a good one to share, let us know about it!
