Fresh off a triumphant gig at South by Southwest, Jack White has announced a slew of North American and European tour dates. If his blistering SXSW performance is any indication, fans can expect two different backing bands (one all-female, one exclusively male) playing choice songs from White's entire catalog, including The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather.

Music Blog Consequence of Sound was on hand for the SXSW showcase, offering a rave review:

"Hearing the opening riffs of “Seven Nation Army” through an open window, the thousands amassed outside began chanting “Oh.Oh.Oh.Oh.Oh.Oh.Oh.” Even White seemed blown away, smirking at the sight as he ripped into another one of those iconic riffs. Music’s last great band [The White Stripes] may be gone, but music’s last great rocker may just be reaching his pinnacle."

White's first-ever solo album, "Blunderbuss" is due out on Third Man Records April 24th.
