Singing

I include just about anything that involves singing here.  Whether it is some of my favorite vocal performances, or something that I have learned that has helped me to become a better singer.

For years, I have been studying speech level singing (SLS) using Brett Manning’s course.  However, to be perfectly honest (and at no discredit to the course) I just didn’t get it.  Then I finally, started continuing the studies with the help of a certified SLS instructor.

Since I started those lessons, I realized that everything I thought I was doing correctly and according to the Singing Success and Mastering Mix CDs, I was actually not doing correctly at all.  My instructor has put me on the right path, and my ear is constantly hearing new things that it never recognized before.  Finding release in my bridges is making singing more enjoyable, and provides greater range and freedom.

I love learning to sing, and always look forward to how much I might accomplish each month.
