System of a Down, the most popular Armenian-American metal band in history (go ahead, check), are hitting the road this summer for a co-headlining arena tour with The Deftones.

Though the group went on an extended hiatus in 2006, they reformed for a few shows late last year. There is no word on whether a new album might be in the works, but lead singer Serj Tankian is set to release his third solo album, “Harakiri,” on July 10. Details are pretty scarce about the record thus far, though Tankian has released a teaser video for what’s presumed to be the leadoff single “Figure it Out.”

“I feel like I’m definitely treading on new territory musically and doing something I’ve never done before,” said Tankian. “I’m even hearing things I’ve never heard before within that frame. To me, that’s exhilarating, creative and exciting.”
