Beloved 90s alternative band Weezer are one step closer to fully embracing the recent indie nostalgia boom. The group have just announced two Memories shows, where they will play their first two albums in their entirety. Both shows will take place in Orlando, Florida. November 10th will be dedicated to their self-titled debut, better known as The Blue Album, while November 11th will feature Pinkerton, their initially disparaged, though now critically-lauded sophomore release.

"Pinkerton has definitely taken on a life of its own and became more successful and more accepted," said Weezer guitarist Brian Bell. "At the time, it wasn’t especially critically acclaimed. In fact, I think it was one of the worst records of the year by Rolling Stone that year, and then later it was hailed. That just goes to show the fickleness of the music business and industry. As an artist, you just have to do what you believe in at the time, whether it’s accepted or not. You just have to keep going with it."
